The #BloodMoonEclipse is so impressive when viewed up close. Really gives you a sense of scale, and perspective.

Students must have initiative; they should not be mere imitators. They must learn to think and act for themselves - and be free. As the students of San Francisco State University learn to become leaders by following the examples of Cesar Chavez and Malcolm X, we strive today to have a better tomorrow.
Today we commemorate Chavez not just as a champion for workers’ rights, but as an American hero. We honor his legacy and commitment to lending a voice to the voiceless on Cesar Chavez Day, but we seek to take this a step further to a full Day of Service. This day will serve not just to honor and remember the great work of Cesar Chavez, but to continue his central mission: that when workers are treated fairly, everybody benefits. Si Se Puede! (at San Francisco State University Bookstore)

You can really feel the the love, happiness and the crazy amount of fun we had here. I am just really happy that I was able to set this up for all of you. Wasn’t easy getting 27 folks to come on board and join the crazy fun at the Giants game, but I made it possible. That alone makes me happy and puts a big smile on my face. Biggest highlight of this game was to appear on the big screen and for most of you this was your first game ever. Definitely had a great day and will definitely be looking forward in this again soon. (at AT&T Park)

I can’t believe it’s been 13 years since the last I’ve seen you. This is Oscar Daniel Corro-Maestro, my first and best friend from since preschool. It’s been far too long that I still remember all the good times we had when we were kids. At the age of 6, we both had skateboard and we used to roam the streets of Redwood City. I still remember the day I broke my left arm, it was because of curiosity of the new skating area at the Red Morton Community Park. As the novice skateboarder I tested out the rink and once I was there I didn’t know what to do. I caught so much air that I flung 7 feet into the air; what goes up must come down. I broke my arm in a most unusual way, my arm was bent in half way where I was able to touch my elbow with my fingers. I blame this guy for my injury, because after that I wasn’t able to skateboard for a very long time. His words “dude that was cool, what happened to your arm? Does it hurt (as his poking my bone).” As kids all we ever did was play Super Smash Brothers on the Nintendo 64 and play Pokémon for days. We promised ourselves that no matter how old or young we get we will always have time for Pokémon and become the very best Pokémon Masters. It was nice to finally reconnect with my childhood friend just like old times. #Childhood #Friends #Pokémon #Memories (at Hayward, California)

I definitely had a great birthday today. I have had privilege to meet @mnfauni on this joyful day. Thank you for spending time with me, it may have been the only birthday gift I’ve always wanted. I would have never guess you would have a polaroid camera to capture this moment and a souvenir to keep. Best birthday gift ever. A picture holds a thousand words, but the memories to kept in the moment, pasalamatan mo siya. #MyBirthday #Polaroid #Souvenir (at The Old Spaghetti Factory)

Friday February 21st at approximately 5:30 A.M. Alejo Meza my father passed away. He fought bravely against his battle with cancer. Fighting cancer for 4 years on foot, a tumor cancer called Sarcoma. The doctor had to amputate his left leg so that the cancer won’t spread out his body. Unfortunately, a small amount of cancer was found in his lung which made it extremely difficult for him to breathe. Doctors and nurses did all they could in their power to keep him alive. Cancer in his lung had increased in size and made his lung collapse only relying on one his other lung. My dad passed away sleeping in a tranquil state. I was with until he went he to sleep, never knowing he wouldn’t wake up. I’m going my dad very much and I will always love him to infinity and beyond. My was a good man always helpful and caring to everyone, always there for conversation and help anyone out in situation. Will a memorial service for my day on Sunday, location and time is to be announced. If you would like to attend my father’s funeral keep contact with me and I’ll distribution the out to you. Dad you will be extremely missed and your family and friends will always love you. Te quiero cuatro cocos papa.
